Up for more of an adventure? A visit to Whistler would not be complete without a paddle down the River of Golden Dreams – our most popular tour and best in spring and early summer. Paddle across Whistler Wetlands and down the scenic glacial river aptly-named ‘The River of Golden Dreams’. In mid and late summer, when the water levels are low and portaging necessary, embark on a journey down the last section of the River of Golden Dreams into the magnificent glacier-fed Green Lake. The Green Lake Adventure Paddle has it all – a tranquil river paddle, spectacular views of glaciated mountain peaks, sparkling turquoise-coloured water and even a visit to Whistler’s ‘Ghost’ town known as Parkhurst.
