Green Lake Adventure Paddle

Paddle the last section of the River of Golden Dreams into the magnificent turquoise-coloured glacial Green Lake.

Green Lake Adventure Paddle

$195 per person
3 hours

Begin the tour by paddling the last section of the River of Golden Dreams – a beautifully quiet portion of the river with gentle flowing water. Then you will enter the magnificent turquoise-coloured Green Lake. Paddle across this stunning glacial lake to the Parkhurst site – nicknamed Whistler’s Ghost Town. Here we will step out of the boats and discover a forgotten, graffitied relic of the past hidden in the woods along the edge of Green Lake.

The Green Lake Adventure Paddle is a great alternative to our River of Golden Dreams tour when the river levels are low in late summer. In fact it is our staff-favorite thanks to it’s tranquility and enchanting scenery.

Choose to paddle Green Lake with your own private adventure guide on a Private Guided Tour, or join a Guided Group Tour with a maximum of 8 participants per guide.

Private Guided tours are guaranteed exclusive, and include hotel pick-up and drop-off.

Guided tours are public with a maximum of 8 guests per guide. Guided paddling tours include shuttle transportation from/to our office in Whistler Village.

All prices are based on a minimum of 2 adults. Child pricing for 12 years and under.

All guests are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver before participation.

What to Bring / What to Wear

We recommend you wear clothing that you could get wet, as well as a hat, sunglasses and close-toed footwear that can get wet.

It's always a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket or a warm sweater as the mountain weather can change quickly - even on sunny days! It's also a good idea to pack a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen and a snack.

Don't forget your camera to capture your adventure! You can store it safely in a provided dry bag when you're not using it.

We ask that you please bring your own reusable water bottle - we're working to reduce plastic waste. Did you know that Whistler has some of the cleanest and freshest tap water in the world? Our alpine-fresh water supply comes from beautiful Rainbow Lake which is fed by ancient glaciers. However, if you require, bottled water is available for purchase at our Village Office.
