The Whistler area offers easy access to many exceptional canoeing and kayaking destinations. Hire your own private guide and explore the best of what Whistler’s waterways have to offer at your own pace and under expert guidance. Our guides live locally and know Whistler’s waterways intimately.

Canoeing and kayaking excursions can be personalised for you including the destination, level of difficulty and duration. We provide transportation to and from the tour location. Contact us to start arranging your adventure.

Looking for a group tour option? We also offer guided River of Golden Dreams and Alta Lake Nature Paddle group tours.

Private tours are guaranteed exclusive. All prices are based on a minimum of two adults.
Equipment rental is included in the tour price.

All guests are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver before participation.

What to Bring / What to Wear

We recommend you wear clothing that you could get wet, as well as a hat, sunglasses and close-toed footwear that can get wet.

It's always a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket or a warm sweater as the mountain weather can change quickly - even on sunny days! It's also a good idea to pack a towel, a change of clothes, sunscreen and a snack.

Don't forget your camera to capture your adventure! You can store it safely in a provided dry bag when you're not using it.

We ask that you please bring your own reusable water bottle - we're working to reduce plastic waste. Did you know that Whistler has some of the cleanest and freshest tap water in the world? Our alpine-fresh water supply comes from beautiful Rainbow Lake which is fed by ancient glaciers. However, if you require, bottled water is available for purchase at our Village Office.
