Train Wreck Adventure
Take a walk back in time to the historic Whistler Train Wreck of 1956. Join one of our interpretive hiking guides as they lead you through ancient cedars to the mysterious, colourful abandoned box cars.
Embark on this Train Wreck Adventure tour with your own private adventure guide on a Private Guided tour with a minimum of 2 and maximum of 8 participants per guide.
Private Guided tours are guaranteed exclusive, and include hotel pick-up and drop-off. Rates vary based on number of participants. Child pricing for 12 years and under.
All guests are required to sign a legal release of liability waiver before participation.

What to Bring / What to Wear
We recommend you wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor exercise and close-toed shoes suitable for hiking.
It's always a good idea to bring a waterproof jacket or an additional layer such as a warm sweater as the mountain weather can change quickly - even on sunny days! It's also a good idea to pack sunscreen, a hat, sunglasses, a snack and your camera!
We ask that you please bring your own reusable water bottle - we're working to reduce plastic waste. Did you know that Whistler has some of the cleanest and freshest tap water in the world? Our alpine-fresh water supply comes from beautiful Rainbow Lake which is fed by ancient glaciers. However, if you require, bottled water is available for purchase at our Village Office.
